Uploading your event logo

Upload a JPG, GIF or PNG file and Skild will automatically resize the image to fit within the dimensions specified below:

Max width: 81 pixels
Max height: 125 pixels

Event Name

The name of the competition that appears to contestants, judges, nominees, nominators and the public. This event name will automatically be populated throughout the system including login, registration, public voting pages and emails in the CMS (Content Management System) with the token called @@EVENT_NAME@@.  


Event Description

Create a description for your event.  Currently, this is used for internal purposes only between your company administrators and the Skild team.



Skild Subdomain

The specific name of the competition set within the URL. For example, []

Vanity URL (premium add-on)

A Vanity URL is a custom web address name that points to the Skild Subdomain. The website visitor would only see the custom web address. For example, [] points to []


There are two options:

  • Option 1: We host your web pages on on our server, so all your pages and platform use your own domain name.
  • Option 2: Your web administrator will create a CNAME with a custom subdomain (i.e. and points the subdomain to our server's IP address.  To purchase this add-on or find out our IP address please email

Official Competition Timezone

The timezone in which all competition milestones are set. The Skild system will automatically configure to match the administrator-set milestones in all timezones.

For example, if the Submission Period deadline ends at January 1, 2012 at 12pm Eastern time, then it will also end at January 1, 2012 at 9am Pacific time.

Contestants and Judges have the ability to set their own time zone preferences in My Profile. On the user's Dashboard, the visible milestones will automatically convert the milestone date and time to the user's specified timezone.


This is your custom email address. Participants will receive emails from the email you specify. Emails are either sent automatically (ie. submission confirmation) or manually (by admin through User Management or Manage Entries). When a participant receives an email from the specified email address, they will be able to reply directly to this email address and communicate with you.

After you enter the email address, you must be approved via a verification process. Within a few minutes, you should receive an email from or Amazon Web Services
(please add to your email client to avoid being caught in your spam folder).
Click the verification link in the email. The status will change to 
Email verified.  If you do not receive the email from
Amazon, before contacting, check your spam folder or try another email address to make certain
the problem is not with your email server or email address.
