If your event asks for a video upload, here are a few key points to remember.

  • File Name: Keep your video’s file name under 30 characters, and do not use special characters (*,!,@, etc.) in the file name.

  • File Type: Most common video file types are accepted. If you are having trouble uploading from an iPhone 11 or later, click here for more instructions.

  • File Size: Please be conscious of the file size maximum listed. If you need to convert your file to a smaller format. For solutions on reducing your file size, click here.

  • Processing: After your video is uploaded, it may take some time to be processed, depending on its size. This can be anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes or longer.

If you are uploading a very large file or using a slow internet connection, be aware that the system will timeout (shut down) after 60 minutes. If this happens, you will need to restart your upload.

Your video will need to be published before you can submit your application. IF YOU CAN’T SEE YOUR VIDEO, THE JUDGES CAN’T SEE YOUR VIDEO.  We strongly advise that you DO NOT TRY to upload your video right before the submission deadline. Upload your video in advance to allow for processing time.
